
British & Northern Ireland Passport Holders
You must publish the Banns at your local registry office in England. They will release a certificate of Non Impediment after approximately 23 days. This certificate is valid for 3 months from Issue for marriages in Italy.
You must ensure your passports are valid for more than 6 months after date of marriage.
Original long version of birth certificates including names of both parents for both Bride and Groom.
Photocopies of your passport (all pages with writing on).
Original of the certificate of Non Impediment, in order for a translation to be done at the British Consulate.
Original Divorce Decree Absolute, if you are divorced (+ original marriage certificate from previous marriage).
Original Death Certificate, if you are widowed (+ original marriage certificate from previous marriage).
Original Deed poll if either of you have changed your names.
You must be 18 or over to marry in Italy.
Copies of Witnesses passports. Witnesses must be over 18
