To the team of people who really do make dreams come true (AKA Gwen, Andrea and Lake Garda Weddings Team).
When we visited Malcesine and met you in Spring last year, we immediately knew we had found our wedding venue. But never did we imagine how truly wonderful and beautiful it would be. It has now been 3 weeks since our wedding day and us and our guests are still talking about how it was the most beautiful wedding and special place they have ever experienced.
Andrea, the minute we met you at our welcome meeting a few days before the wedding, we immediately felt relaxed and completely confident that everything was going to be just perfect. You were the consumate professional and so warm and kind that we really were not worried about anything. I was so so happy with my hair and flowers (especially as this is something I only decided on when we got out there!!) The wedding service was intimate, informal and romantic – exactly what we wanted, and the Registrar made us feel like his old freinds! Our guests told us later, that they have never seen so many men cry at a wedding before, which must say something!
The champagne toast and boat trip were a great opportunity for our guests to have a breather and to cool off – and we would recommend this option to anyone, as our guests really loved this. The wedding reception…WOW! Mario and the team at Al Corsaro were excellent! The service was truly outstanding – Mario made us feel so special and the food was out of this world.
Finally, Gwen, your photos were absolutely incredible! We had a vision that our day would be romantic, informal, intimate, relaxed and fun…and this is exactly what your photos show. We really liked your approach and the way you made us feel so relaxed and natural having our photos taken.
We could go on and on as every minute of the day was Magical, however all we really need to say is thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making all of our dreams come true.
Love from Dawn and Stuart x

To Gwen, Sara and the team.  We can only start off with a massive thank you for the huge part you played in making our wedding day so special.  Everything about the day was perfect and with everything in hand all we had left to do was relax and enjoy it.  We got married at 11am in Malcesine and could not have been happier as it meant we had the rest of the day to enjoy with our guests, plus we avoided the hottest part of the day.  We also took up the option to have the Tuk Tuk, which was great fun and gets a lot of attention! After the ceremony the Tuk Tuk also allowed us a quick five minutes together before our guests arrived down for the lakeside drinks.  Initially we were undecided whether to have lakeside drinks but we are so glad we did as it gave us time to take everything in and talk to our guests in such a beautiful location.  We opted to have the Wedding Breakfast at the Vecchia Malcesine restaurant, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.  They were more than accommodating with our needs, the staff were faultless, the view fantastic and the food amazing!  After a relaxing lunch we headed off for a boat trip, which was a really nice touch and thoroughly enjoyed by all.  Whilst it seems a busy day it never felt that way and gave us the whole evening to carry on the celebrations in the town.  The team were a great support throughout our planning with excellent advice, suggestions and feedback.  Whatever we asked they were able to help and it was fantastic to have Sara with us on the day.  Also a huge thank you to Gwen for taking our photos, we have such amazing pictures and it was also great fun!  I think we surprised a lot of our guests in a very positive way, many saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to and also the best holiday they’ve ever had!  We have loved the area since the first time we went there and getting married in Malcesine was the best decision we ever made, and we can not wait to return.  Again, another massive thank you to the team, Nick and Jemma Greer.

We were so glad we did the boat trip the night before, it  was so lovely, everybody was really relaxed and excited about the big day,  so it was a fanatastic build up.  Im still amazed at how  the weather just became perfect,  bang on time, you would have never imagined just that same morning it was raining cats and dogs.
Laura was so helpful, even helped serve our drinks, which we really werent expecting her to, so a big thank you.
The wedding at 5pm i think was perfect as it allowed us such a relaxing day before i went off for my manicure,  make up and hair, and  what can i say about my hair – miracle!!!
The ceremony ran so smoothly, Laura had every detail covered, she had thought of answers to questions before we had even asked them!
All our guests haven’t stopped talking about it they’ve all said it was a really beautiful wedding. And we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
I wasn’t sure about the Excelsior at first, but we  can honestly say the food and the service was second to none, Laura stayed to make sure everything was perfect and it did make us feel we were really being looked after.
The photos are amazing, thanks to Gwen, I dont know how we will ever select the ones to make up our album!
All in all you did us proud, i never had to worry about anything,     a massive thank you for what was for us, a magical wedding.
Lou and Nigel.

I’m sure that Andrea passed on our thanks at the beginning of the week when I spoke with her. If she did not then we want to say thank you again. We received the photographs this morning and they are fantastic. Lorenzo did a fantastic job and really went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better service!

Could you also pass on our sincere thanks to Debbie. I know that there were a few ‘fast balls’ for her to deal with and she did this very well. Overall it was a pain free and thoroughly enjoyable day. She took all the stress out of the day and was on hand to help at all time. All this despite the rain!

Everything that you did took the stress away from us and we have both felt very calm and relaxed through the entire process. I would definitely recommend you!

Thank you also for sending us the cheque for the money owed from the Del Porto. I was worried about this but you have sorted it with no fuss.

Once again, thank you so much for all that you and your team have done for us.

We are looking forward to coming back to Lake Garda in the future, perhaps for a one year anniversary!

Thanks again,

Best wishes,

Tom and Abi
