Rachel & Fred’s wedding

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

Rachel & Fred were married on Wednesday in Malcesine Castle. It was a lovely sunny day and the  bride arrived in style  in our little Tuk Tuk with her mum.

The couple had very relaxed ceremony on the terrace before heading off for the photos around the castle. After a lovely relaxing boat trip the couple headed off to the Voglia restaurant for the reception and the evening of great food and a bit of dancing.

Congratulations

Gillian & Glen’s wedding

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

On Friday Gillian and Glen were married in Malcesine Castle. Unfortuately the weather was not the best and the ceremony was held inside. The musicians helped create a great atmosphere in the inside room whilst the groom and the guests waited for Gillian to arrive.

After the ceremony the guests headed off to the champagne toast by the lakeside whilst the happy couple had photos done in Malcesine Castle. After the toast a very lively (lots of singing and laughter) boat trip took the couple around the bay before heading back where the couple danced the evening away to the music played by our live band.

Congratulations!

Teija & Eddie’s wedding

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

On friday Teija and Eddie were married at 5pm on the terrace of Malceisne Castle. It had rained during the day but stopped by the time the wedding took place so the lucky pair managed to have the wedding and the photos all outside.

Teija spend the afternoon being pampered having her hair and make up done by our specialists.

After the wedding the couple headed off for a boat trip which left them at the Voglia restaurant where they had an evening of speeches, great food and wine!

Congratulations to you both.

Michelle was lovely and relaxed whist getting the photos with her dad before the ceremony. The pair were whisked around Malcesine in the little tuk tuk to get to the castle. The bride and groom had chosen some very personal music to be played by the string quartett during the ceremony

The couple and the guests enjoyed a lovely warm boat trip on the waters of lake Garda before heading off to the Voglia restaurant for the wedding meal and the relaxing evening.

Congratulations to you both.

Lisa & Chris’s comments

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

Many thanks to all at Lake Garda Weddings especially Andrea, Gwen and Annabelle for making our day so special. The day ran like clockwork – from being picked up in the tuk tuk to go to the ceremony – until we were handed over to the capable hands of La Pace for the evening reception (with the ceremony, photos, champagne toast and a boat trip inbetween!). Andrea our principal planner and interpretator at the ceremony was so kind, enthusiastic and genuinely friendly, mingling with our guests whilst also being very professional and organised. The photos we have through Lake Garda Weddings are excellent and a mix of traditional as well as informal and natural shots which really capture our happiness on the day.

Our guests could not believe how picturesque Malcesine is for a Wedding and even though maybe not to all tastes it’s hard not to fall in love with the place! This review probably sounds a bit OTT but if you marry in Malcesine you will feel the same! Many of our guests have said it was the best Wedding they have been to as the day was so relaxed and intimate and the evening reception at La Pace was outstanding!

Thanks again for such a perfect day”

Chris & Sian’s wedding

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

All the sun dances paid off, after a night and morning of torrential rain, the sun came out just as Sian & Chris exchanged vows and stayed out for the rest of the day.

The bride made the most of what seemed to be a gap in the rain to have her pictures taken in the hotel before heading off to the castle. The tuk tuk took her and her dad to the castle by which time the sun was trying to peak through the cloud.

THe string quartett played the music that Sian and Chris had chosen. After the wedding the couple had lots more photos with their children before sending the party off for an icecream!

The couple enjoyed a 6 course meal at the Corsaro for the wedding reception and have a live band playing for the evening!

Congratulations!

Julia & Andrew’s wedding

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

On Saturday Julia & Andrew were married in Torri Del Benaco San Giovanni church. This church is an old building that permits civil weddings and is very pretty indeed. Julia used to sing in a choir so she had her choir colleagues sing at the wedding which made the wedding very special indeed.

The bride walked to the wedding with her Dad and the flowergirls and walked down the aisle to the tunes she had carefully selected for the choir.

After the ceremony the couple walked down the aisle and then were bombarded by rice and confetti!

A lovely champagne toast by the lakeside was enjoyed by everyone whilst the couple had photos around the village and the lakeside. A champagne boat ride gave eveyone a chance to chill out and relax before heading off to the reception.

Congratulations!

Kathryn & Peter’s wedding

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

On Friday Kathryn & Peter had a late afternoon wedding in Malcesine Castle.

It was a small, intimate wedding with just 12 people in total. The Bride arrived in our Tuk Tuk, then walked up the aisle to the music played by the violin and piano. There were quite a few tears from the guests during the ceremony. After the ceremony the guests all relaxed in the shate in  a nearby bar whilst the happy couple had photos taken. AFter the photos the guests gathered for the rice and confetti throwing before heading off in the Tuk Tuk to the champagne toast and then the reception at the Pace restaurant in the hold harbour.

Congratulations to you both!
