Dear LGW ladies
Where do I start! We got married 4 weeks ago at beautiful Malcesine Castle and it was quite simply the most magical day of our lives.
From the first time we contacted LGW you could not have been more helpful and professional yet friendly and supportive. Every query no matter how silly was answered quickly and positively.
The LGW facebook page was a god send, chatting to other past and present brides/grooms asking and answering questions and sharing ideas and knowledge etc it really is like a little family all supporting each other.
On our arrival at Malcesine we stayed at the beautiful Casa Barca which was an amazing hotel with friendly staff who could not be more helpful. We stayed in the junior suite which was so spacious with a great sun terrace and view of the lake.
We met Jac for our welcome meeting and immediately knew we were in safe hands. Jacs is such a pro and so friendly and helpful and was a massive hit with all our family and friends on the day everyone commented on how lovely she was and we even got to meet her mum at the reception who was equally as lovely. The day ran so smoothly and we knew it was down to Jac’s presence and good work. We were so lucky to have her share our day with us.
On the day of the wedding my mum, bridesmaids and I headed off to the hairdresses. I cannot recommend Jacqui an Titi enough, they were amazing! Their work is out of this world and made us all look so amazing I couldn’t believe the transformation! It was so lovely to be pampered and such a nice time to just relax with my mum and bridesmaids before the rush of the day. I would definitely say these ladies are a must so friendly and talented I just wish they could do my hair and make up every day so thank you Jacqui and Titi.
Back to the hotel and then I met Gwen. I don’t normally like my photo being taken but she put me at ease straightaway with her friendly manner and she was so relaxed and professional at the same time. She even kept me calm when it thundered and started to spit with rain and Gwen very calmly putting the umberellas in the back of the tuk tuk – luckily we didn’t need them. I had seen Gwen’s photos on the internet so knew how amazing they were and we definitely were not dissapointed the 900 + photos are exceptional its going to be difficult to select just a few for the album.
The tuk tuk ride was great with everyone cheering and wishing us well, my dad and I felt like royalty.
The flowers were beautiful and my boquet was perfect.
Arriving at the castle and seeing my husband to be was so emotional. The service was beautiful and the Registrar was so nice. The music was just so stunning the violin and the keyboard sounded fantastic together and the musicians are so talented.
The lakeside toast was a great chance for everyone to mingle and chat and the food was lovely. We were all in need of a nice cool drink and some food by this point.
The boat ride to the reception was the first chance to sit down and relax and cool off a bit as we took in the beautiful sights of the castle.
The reception was wonderful. Christian was very attentive and looked after us all night. He even remembered the wedding cake in the evening which we had completely forgotten about but that was delicious and looked so good! The DJ was fab and everyone was up dancing the night way.
We had the most truly amazing magical day and we wish we could do it all over again. So to Jac, Gwen and all the LGW ladies and to everyone involved in our wonderful wedding we would like to say a massive thank you for making it the best day of our lives and the wonderful memories will last forever.
With best wishes
