To all at LGW (and anyone reading this review)
When we first booked with you after reading all your fabulous reviews and comments and experiencing first hand your patience with all my questions and emailing, I wasn’t quite sure how so many people could have such successful weddings in the same place, and how everyone could fall in love with it so easily. I spent a lot of time thinking that there must be some sort of catch! Now we know, there is no such thing.
From our first email in the summer of 2011 to this day, the service you have all provided has been seamless. We have never felt in the dark about any part of the organisation and we’ve always felt comfortable to ask any questions however small they may be. It is of huge credit to yourselves and the company you run when you can organise the biggest day of somebodies life from hundreds of miles away and it comes off with absolutely no fault; one of our guests even kept asking when James was coming, when asked James who? She replied ‘James Bond, this is like a movie!!’
Angelika – When you took us for a run through of the day and to meet all the suppliers etc, we had no concern that you wouldn’t do an amazing job, and we wernt the only ones who were taken with you. Quite a large number of our guests commented on your professionalism, humour, organisation and general presence on the day. Thank you for making all them very happy and comfortable throughout the day.
Gwen – Your photos speak for themselves. You have a unique way of making a very alien situation comfortable so that you can capture the true essence of the wedding day. So many people commented on how beautiful they are and all the different styles and settings. Our only regret is not choosing a larger package so that we could have you for longer!!
I could sit and type all day about all the amazing events that happened, from the tuk tuk (absolute MUST!!) and all the clapping and celebrations through the streets, to the rice throwing, the boat trip and prosecco, padding in the lake, beautiful food (and more prosecco) and service at La Voglia but I think I’ll leave it with a note from our guest book which I think sums up LGW quite nicely-
‘When in the middle of paradise, it is difficult to imagine how anything could be better, but somehow, you have managed to make it so…’
Lots of love and well wishes for all the future BOM’s & WOMS’s of Malcesine
