Terms of Sale

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They apply to all weddings, events and services of Lake Garda Weddings. Our contract and conditions guarantee you the most professional service.

Your Contract with Lake Garda Weddings

When you book a wedding or event service or other travel arrangements a binding contract only comes into existence when we send you a written confirmation of your booking and we have receive your deposit. if we do not receive full payment from you by 8 weeks prior to the wedding or event the contract is invalidated.
if you are booking less than 8 weeks before the wedding or event then full payment must be made as soon as the ceremony date is confirmed.
We are responsible for providing the services you have booked as are detailed on your invoice and you are responsible for payment to be completed by set timescales.
Please note: It is important that you check carefully the written confirmation of your booking when you receive the booking confirmation to ensure that all details are exactly as you requested. Our responsibility is to provide the services booked according to this written confirmation.
if you want to amend your booking, after it has been confirmed we will do our best to help, however we may not always be able to meet your request and have no obligation to do so. Where it is possible to meet your request, the total cost will be recalculated in accordance with any new arrangements taking into account any applicable cancellation fees or other charges payable and a new confirmation invoice will be issued.
In parties of two or more people, the person making the booking accepts responsibility for making all payments to us for all members of the party. We will provide all documents and other information to that person who will in turn be responsible for ensuring that the other members of the party are kept fully informed.

Your Holiday Insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate travel insurance for your trip. We also strongly recommend that you also take out wedding insurance cover. No liability will be accepted for any clients travelling without adequate travel insurance.


All prices are in € Euros as will be your quote, written confirmation of booking and invoice. Payment is accepted via bank transfer, at the present time we cannot accept payment by credit card. The prices in this site are correct at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time. The price shown on you your written confirmation invoice is fully guaranteed and there will be no extra charges or change of price, unless you amend the booking in any way after it is made. All prices are inclusive of IVA (Italian VAT). For price details of what is included and what is not included please see your confirmation of booking.


Payments of the booking are due: €650 non refundable deposit at time booking is made
A non-refundable deposit will often be required to reserve the restaurant, this will be communicated to you if applicable. In this case, the balance will be paid directly to the restaurant, approx 4 weeks before your wedding. Balance of the payment is due 8 weeks before the wedding / event. if you are booking less than 8 weeks before the wedding or event then full payment must be made as soon as the ceremony date is confirmed. Hotel bookings – payment to hotels is made directly by you at the end of your stay. Please Note: Your wedding / event may be cancelled if you fail to make payment on time.

Special Requests

Please let us know any special requests and we will make every effort to fulfil them – we can only guarantee special requests that are confirmed in writing on the booking confirmation.

If you cancel your wedding or event

We start of incur costs arranging your wedding or event from the moment we confirm your booking and the closer it is to the date of the wedding or event the more costs we will have incurred, so consequently cancellation charges will be more. if you wish to cancel a confirmed booking this must be done in writing via email, fax or post by the person in whose name the booking is invoiced. Cancellation takes effect from the date we received your written confirmation of cancellation, verbal cancellations will not be accepted. if you cancel you we will refund a percentage of the total payment as specified below:

  • 8 weeks or more – Full refund not including €650 non refundable deposit & any non refundable deposits requested by restaurants or suppliers.
  • 8 – 6 weeks – 80% refund (not including €650 non refundable deposit)
  • 6 – 4 weeks – 50% refund (not including €650 non refundable deposit)
  • 4 – 2 weeks – 20% refund (not including €650 non refundable deposit)
  • 2 – 1 weeks – 10% refund (not including €650 non refundable deposit)
  • Less than 1 week – no refund

if one or more members of your party cancel from your booking then these cancellation charges will apply to the price of this part of the booking. Please note: if you have to cancel for a reason which will be covered by your insurance, we will provide written confirmation of the cancellation charges for you to be able to re-claim against your insurance.

Our Liability to you for your wedding or event

We accept full liability for the proper performance of our obligations under our agreement with you for all weddings, events or services booked through us. if you have a complaint about our services forming part of your wedding or event we have confirmed to you in the written confirmation of booking we have provided, we will return to you appropriate compensation. if you or any member of your party suffers damage by our failure to provide the services stated in the booking confirmations, we accept liability except in the following circumstances
a) if the fault or improper performance is your fault or the fault of any member of your party.
b) if the fault is the fault of someone else not connected with the provision of the services that make up the contract of what we have confirmed with you.
c) Any unusual or unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control, the consequence of which could not have been avoided even if all due care and attention had been exercised.
d) Any event which we, or the supplier or any service, even with all due care and could not foresee.
We shall offer prompt general assistance to any client, who through mishap suffers difficulty, illness, personal injury during their stay in the Lake Garda area for the wedding or event booked with us.

Complaints Procedure

if you have a complaint about the services provided for your wedding or event, you must inform us and the relevant supplier immediately. We will do our best to resolve the problem to your satisfaction immediately.
if the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction you need to write to us stating the nature of the complaint, upon receiving this will we reply within 28 days.


When you book a wedding / event with us you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and the members of your wedding / event party.
We reserve the right at any time to terminate (before or after your departure) your wedding / event due to your or a member of your party’s misconduct. Full cancellation charges will apply and no refund will be made. Furthermore we will be under no obligation to pay compensation or meet any of the costs or expenses you encounter as a result or us terminating your wedding / event in accordance with this paragraph. if your actions or those of any member of your party cause damage to the any structure used for your wedding (town hall, bar, restaurant, etc.) in or cause damage or delay to any transportation you agree to fully indemnify us against any claim (including legal costs) made against us by the owners of such structures or the operator of any means of transport.


By booking a photographic service through ourselves you agree to the booking conditions as laid out by our photographer.
