Avan-garde Humanistic Weddings in Italy

Congratulations to Penny and James, who married in a symbolic wedding in Malcesine Castle, in July 2019.

The couple stayed at a small hotel in Malcesine and the photo service started in the centre of village.

After the wedding ceremony the couple toured the castle grounds for some photos with the photographer, and they took the bridesmaid with them who really helped make the photoshoot such fun. We were really lucky with the weather and the sun helped us make some great photos. They climbed up and down steps to be able to get all the beautiful images around the castle. Just look at this wonderful doorway shot. Penny had flat pumps on so it made it much easier. James and Penny had asked for this photo in the doorway.

Symbolic weddings are a great way to marry, without all the legal implications it means you can personalise your wedding anyway you like it. Penny and James married legally in the Uk before they came out, which made it possible for them to have a nice and personal ceremony. We also do vow renewals, baby naming and civil ceremonies.

After the wedding the coupled had arranged with the wedding planner to have a champagne toast in the castle grounds, and that is when they snook off for some quiet time and photos. Once the toast was over, they, with the guests, went on a lake cruise and ended up at the La Voglia restaurant for the wedding meal. They had some lakeside photos before the meal and then a DJ for the evening.
