Congratulations to Adam and Alice who had a symbolic wedding in Malcesine in April 2019.
Alice and Adam, who live on a military base in Italy, chose to marry here in our stunningly beautiful castle.
They came out to visit a couple of months before the wedding and had an engagement shoot with Gwen, our photographer which broke the ice and make for some beautiful photos. Alice also had a boudoir photo shoot too.
Alice and Adam stayed in the Bridal Suite of the Hotel Maximillian, 3km out of Malcesine. It was a cloudy morning and Alice was very worried about the weather, but it turned out to be a beautiful day.
Alice got ready in the hotel, then we stayed in the hotel for photos with her Dad, before getting the tuk tuk up to the wedding venue.
Adam and Alice had already married legally in the states so the wedding was a symbolic wedding which was held by a priest who was also a friend of theirs. The ceremony was very personal and emotional too.
The string quartet played for the groom and the guests whilst they awaited Alice's arrival. They also played during the ceremony and during the champagne toast in the castle. The group photos were good fun and all of the military uniforms really stood out.
After drinks and nibbles Alice and Adam toured Malcesine Castle with the photographer and video man to get the views caught on camera. They were such fun for the photos and were willing to try anything out.
