What a wonderful day we had with Sam and Ant in June 2018 in Malcesine . A huge congratulations to them both for a long and happy life together.
It as a wonderful celebration of love and family, this couple are just so meant to be and the families were just incredibly nice too. I felt like I had know them all for years.
Gwen Courtman, the photographer had done an engagement shoot with this couple already so it was easy for them all to slip right back into it.
Sam and Ant stayed in the Hotel Excelsior Bay on Malcesine Lake Front. There was some last minute rushing to get everyone ready in time, especially the bride and her bridesmaids. Once Ant and his guys had left the hotel Sam and her Dad went off for photos, before getting in the Tuk Tuk to take them to the wedding ceremony on top of the castle.
We had arranged a champagne toast in the castle for the wedding party, with prosecco, juice, water, pizza, fruit and much more. Whilst the guests were enjoying the party and looking around the castle, the photographer and videographer took them out for photos around the grounds. We had Ant and Sam climbing up and down steps to make sure the pictures were just perfect and in the best locations.
Sam and Ant had hired a video man to film the day, James Stratford, from Liverpool. He had flown over especially to capture the event for them. We have worked with him many times and he really is excellent and his films look like a movie.
After a lovely boat trip on calm waters to the restaurant the guests were treated to a 6 course meal banquet of traditional Italian food. Before the dancing started, James and Gwen, the photos/video team took all the guests out onto the beach for the sparkler shots where the happy couple had the first dance in the middle of the sparklers and their guests. It was very unique. Cake was served later in the evening once people had made room for it.
