Hi Lake Garda team apologies for the delay in writing this review I think it's taken so long as I have to admit it is all over.
Firstly I would like to say thank you for organising our day it was perfect from start to finish. In the months leading up to the wedding nothing was too much trouble all my emails with ridiculous questions we're answered in quick response. I say ridiculous because once I was in Malcesine and met you guys I realised we had done the right thing and everything was under control down to the minor details.
Massive thank you to Deborah who was our wedding organisor who sorted every little detail out for us I think she could tell i was nervous at the welcome meeting but she soon put me to ease. Deborah showed us round the town taking us to various places to give our final details. Town hall, florist, hairdresser etc she was very professional but more than that very friendly and welcoming. I kept bumping into Deborah round the town when we were out and about on her days off when she was with her children but she made sure she came and spoke to us checked we were ok she's a credit to the team.
Gwen I would also like to say a huge thank you we chose Gwen to do our wedding photographs myself and my partner aren't the best in front of a camera awkward is an understatement I thought Gwen might have trouble getting natural shots of us but no she was the true professional who put us at ease I felt like it was a friend taking our photographs she was brilliant and the photos are stunning. Those who couldn't make Italy have seen the photos and are amazed by her work. So thank you Gwen.
We had never been to Malcesine prior to the wedding but we took a gamble based on reviews and photographs and boy did it pay off the place is stunning the castle is a dream and everything ran like clockwork. All the guests commented on Deborah and Gwens hard work that day. I can't wait to visit malcesine again even my 4 year old daughter still says on a daily basis she misses Italy.
All the suppliers we used Florist, keyboard player, hairdresser and makeup artist were fantastic can not fault any if it. Elena who married us was lovely and done a fantastic job as did Deborah who translated the ceremony. It was an emotional day and the setting was perfect. I really wish I could do it all again.
We must mention Christian at La Voglia too our wedding reception was out of this world perfect setting and beautiful food. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his team.
I hope I see you guys again and get to visit Malcesine soon. Thank you again Deborah and Gwen and all the other ladies at Lake Garda Weddings you were all amazing and we have those special memories forever.
