Today marks one month since our amazing wedding day in Malcesine castle, and I have spent the last month trying to find the words to do our day and Lake Garda Weddings justice. The truth is, I don’t think there are any words good enough to possibly convey our sincerest thanks and gratitude or to praise these outstanding wedding planners for putting together our big day.
I first decided I wanted to get married in this area after working on Lake Garda as a holiday rep. I fell in love with Malcesine. Shortly after, I was lucky enough to meet the man who would eventually be my groom. After the proposal in 2018, we booked a short trip to go and see the area and choose our reception venue etc. We met with Annabel who talked us through the process and discussed our options. We immediately decided that there was no one more suitable to be our wedding planner. She was fantastic, to the point we insisted we wanted her on the day.
Everything from booking and planning, through to the welcome meeting after arriving in resort and the day itself, ran as smooth as clockwork. I was constantly asked, ‘are you stressed with your wedding planning?’ and it always shocked everyone when my answer was ‘No!’ I had nothing whatsoever to stress about as it was apparent from the minute we booked that Annabel, Deborah, Sara and Gwen were more than capable of organising our day. Their knowledge, expertise, communication, advice, professionalism and friendly approach meant any stress was immediately dissolved.
Lake Garda Weddings provided us with all the information we needed in order to make decisions about the day. It was as simple as choosing what we wanted and they did the rest. Everything from the reception, flowers, boat trip, transport, music to hair and make-up was organised for us, and it was obvious they have great supplier relationships with local companies that did not disappoint. We would also like to pass on our thanks to all suppliers involved for making all the finishing touches even better than we expected. We were so so impressed.
For our reception venue, we chose La Voglia and it was nothing short of stunning. Whilst trying to take in all the amazing parts of the day, I kept reminding myself that we could NOT have chosen anything more perfect. Our friends and family had a great time at La Voglia dancing away until the end of the day watching over stunning views of Lake Garda. And of course, the food was superb, along with the staff which could not have done more.
Thanks to Gwen, we have amazing pictures to treasure our memories of this day forever. Our only complaint, that it went far too quick and we want to do it all over again! Our wedding day was genuinely like living in a fairytale and I could sit back and enjoy the day knowing that everything was taken care of, including our guests. Annabel was there ensuring everything went as planned but also took the time during what was a very busy day for her to, to ensure that all our friends and family were completely looked after.
When guest after guest came up to us to tell us our wedding planner was amazing, I simply said ‘I know!’ Annabel, please know how grateful we are for everything you did on the lead up to and on the day itself. Gwen, thank you for the fantastic memories we have taken away with us. Sara and Deborah, thank you for your helpful, efficient and professional communication throughout the entire process.
